World Views on theism Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words
World Views on belief in a higher power - Essay Example Similarly as Hackett describes, the nonappearance of the awesome Being promptly makes the confinements of social relativism. This is on the grounds that, the thought that a celestial Being exists and made the universe and the totality thereof promptly gives space for moral absolutes or the general law. Since an individual model gets the job done, living in America made me note that as globalization keeps on rendering the US and the whole world a social mixture due to multiculturalism, the peril of social relativism has unquestionably gotten inevitable. This risk has for the most part showed itself in a conflict between administrative pieces and social qualities. For example, in light of the consistent however extreme moving endlessly from belief in higher powers, the US government with all its protected development despite everything stays undecided and uncertain about the distribution of writing, for example, Phillip R. Greaves IIââ¬â¢s The Pedophileââ¬â¢s Guide to Love and Pl easure, regardless of the dangers it stances to youngsters. No one but belief in higher powers can thusly find some kind of harmony between the right to speak freely of discourse and still, small voice and that of childrenââ¬â¢s safety.... The essence of the mater thus is that when boosts are presented, there must be a reaction, as a relating activity. Actually, I promptly relate to behaviorism since I have come to take note of that outcomes or results shape individual or aggregate activity. Activity thus forms into conduct. Especially, I have come to take note of that the majority of my associates didn't pay attention to their assignments until teachers set cutoff times. Considering my previous existence likewise strengthen my confidence in behaviorism, since we buckled down in secondary school, essentially after realizing that passage into school or college learning would be founded uniquely on merit. Learning Styles Personally, sensation ways to deal with learning have demonstrated the best and generally productive. This is on the grounds that, this methodology ends up being the most functional since it includes learning by performing, and subsequently consolidates hands-on approaches, for example, developments, wat ching and other physical exercises. Nearby note-taking and guaranteeing physical solace, joining study gatherings, utilizing proper innovation, for example, visual guides and auditing data have catalyzed learning. The Sengoku Period in Japanese History
The Sengoku was a century-long period of political upheaval and warlordism in Japan, lasting from the Onin War of 1467ââ¬â77 through the reunification of the country around 1598. It was a lawless era of civil war, in which the feudal lords of Japan fought one another in endless plays for land and power. Although the political entities that were fighting were actually just domains, the Sengoku is sometimes referred to as Japans Warring States Period. Pronunciation:à sen-GOH-kooAlso knownà as:à sengoku-jidai, Warring States Period Origins The origins of the Sengoku period begin with the establishment of the Ashikaga shogonate during the War Between the Northern and Southern Courts (1336ââ¬â1392). This war was fought between the Southern Court, led by supporters of the Go-Daigo emperor and the Northern Court, including theà Ashikaga shogunate and its chosen emperor. Within the shogunate, provincial governors were given wide-ranging powers. A series of ineffective shoguns weakened their personal power and in 1467, infighting between the provincial governors broke out in the Onin War.à As the shogun lost power, the warlords (called diamyo) became completely independent, fighting one another nearly incessantly. Frequent vacuums of power led to peasant uprisings known as ikki, some of which, with the help of Buddhist militants or independent samurai, were able to accomplish self-rule. One example occurred on the Kaga Province on Japan Sea coast, where the True Pure Land Buddhist sect were able to rule the entire province.à Unification Japans Three Unifiers brought the Sengoku Era to an end. First, Oda Nobunaga (1534ââ¬â1582) conquered many other warlords, beginning the process of unification through military brilliance and sheer ruthlessness. His general Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1536ââ¬â598) continued the pacification after Nobunaga was killed, using a somewhat more diplomatic but equally pitiless set of tactics. Finally, yet another Oda general named Tokugawa Ieyasu (1542ââ¬â1616) defeated all opposition in 1601 and established the stable Tokugawa Shogunate, which ruled until the Meiji Restoration in 1868. Although the Sengoku Period ended with the rise of the Tokugawa, it continues to color the imaginations and the popular culture of Japan to this day. Characters and themes from the Sengoku are evident in manga and anime, keeping this era alive in the memories of modern-day Japanese people. Sources and Further Reading Lehmann, Jean-Piere. The Philosophy Of Psychology Is Defined As The Scientific...
Psychology is defined as the scientific study of the human mind and behavior. It was established as a separate discipline during the late 1800s and can be taken back to the time of the ancient Greeks. From around 500BC to 322 BC, Greek philosophers suggested a theory of ââ¬Å"psycheâ⬠that is where the word psychology comes from. This meaning the mind, soul and spirit. The Pythagoras, Hippocrates, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle were some of the most influential philosophers of their time. However, due to the uncertainty of truth in these theories, they ended up being the foundations relating to psychological thought. However, throughout the 17th century, the advancement of psychology has exceeded into its own discipline along with the establishment of the six schools of thought. Before psychology had been established as a separate discipline, it first originated from a philosophy, where philosophers relied strictly on observation and logic. However, psychologists then began to put to use scientific methodologies that brought about standardized explanations behind the causes of human behavior. Rene Descartes, a French philosopher, brought forth the idea of dualism in his work. Some of his works being ââ¬ËDiscourse on methodââ¬â¢ (1637) and ââ¬ËThe mediationsââ¬â¢ (1641). Aaron Burr Essay - 1004 Words
AARON BURR nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; Although Aaron Burr, b. Newark, N.J., Feb. 6, 1756, fought in the American Revolution and became an important political figure, serving a term (1801-05) as vice-president of the United States, he is best remembered today for having killed Alexander Hamilton in a duel. The son of a president of the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University) and the grandson of another (Jonathan Edwards), Burr could trace his ancestry back to the earliest Puritans. He entered Princeton at the age of 13, graduated at 16, and went on to become a Revolutionary War hero, rising to the rank of lieutenant colonel at the age of 21. Some northern Federalists who were plotting secession called on Burr to support them, but his response was masterfully enigmatic. An old enemy, Alexander Hamilton, did everything he could to defeat Burr. Some of Hamiltons derogatory comments, personal in nature, appeared in print, and Burr, who lost the election, demanded a retraction, which Hamilton refused to make. The duel that followed at Weehawken, N.J., on July 11, 1804, resulted in Hamiltons death. Charged with murder, Burr fled to Philadelphia to escape arrest. The Conspiracy In his final eight months as vice-president, Burrs conduct was exemplary. He presided over the impeachment trial of Samuel Chase with dignity, ability, and impartiality, and delivered a farewell address that favorably impressed the Senate. But his insatiable dream of personal glory led him to undertake a western scheme that ended in his arrest and trial for treason. Precisely what Burr planned will probably never be known. Most likely he envisioned the creation of an empire stretching from the Ohio River to Mexico over which he would preside, and he intended to take wha tever steps were necessary to achieve it. quot; The gods invite us to glory and fortune, quot; Burr wrote to his coconspirator, Gen. The Contribution Of The Cognitive Development â⬠Free Samples
Question: Discuss about the Contribution Of The Cognitive Development. Answer: Overview This assignment will reflect the theories and evidence related to the experience, learning and development of child in the school. The contribution of the cognitive development will be described with evaluating the ways by which the educational experiences and achievement of children can get impacted through the involvement of parents. The role of environmental and biological factors is huge in the cognitive development of the children as they help them to attain various stimuli from environment through their sense. There are various theories of parenting styles which help to understand the role of cognitive development. It has been evaluated that the competition is increased and the parents are more concerned about the study and the development of their children (Lauricella, Wartella and Rideout, 2015). Contributing the cognitive development There are various factors that contribute to cognitive development such as environmental factors, and biological factors. Environmental factors include learning opportunities, economic status, play and family and society while biological factors include sense organs, heredity, maturation and intelligence. The opportunity a child gets to learn affects the cognitive development. In the context of biological factors, the cognitive development can be increased with intelligence because without of this child would not be able to attain stimuli from the environment properly. The role of heredity is major in cognitive development of children as they get same development as their parents. Environmental factors refer the importance of play, family and society in the cognitive development of the child. With the help of play, the interaction of child is increased towards the environment and attains various stimuli. The theory of cognitive development is piagets theory, socio culture theory, cor e knowledge theories and information processing theories. The piagets theory describes that there are distinct stages of cognitive development such as qualitative change, broad applicability, brief transition and invariant sequence. Piaget theory is able to describe the structure of development of human thought. As consequences, it develops the motivation that it could direct education to generate new methods of teaching (Demetriou, Shayer and Efklides, 2016). It has been said that under this theory children of different ages think in different ways According to his theory child as scientist make their own knowledge without involving anyone. Children are intrinsically motivated they do not require any motivation or rewards to learn new things (Hurley, 2011). The role of parents in their childrens learning is important because their daily activities, way of talking and understanding influence them. The involvement of parents in the study of their children at home is vital. It has bee n researched that creating effectual partnerships between families, schools and parent to support learning of children leads to efficient learning outcomes. Parents are considered as the first educators of learning leads to improved learning results. Research shows that the quality of teacher is essential for helping effective parental engagement (Chapman and Adams, 2002). Childs educational experiences and achievement There are various ways in which parents can influence the learning experience of the children. It has been analyzed that the involvement of the parent is considered as the avenue for promoting academic performance. It has been found that the low educational achievement and further prospects of looked after children have become the concern of international issue (Mannay, Staples, Hallett, Roberts, Rees, Evans, and Andrews, 2015). The involvement of parent increases the behaviour of children at home and in the classroom. The role of parents and teachers is vital as they work together to increase the social functioning and define concerns behaviour. There are two kinds of parents such as highly educated parents and better educated parents. Effective educated parents are considered to the quality of school while educated parents are given attention to the quality of the teacher of the children and may effort to make sure that their children are efficiently served (Prisacariu and Shah, 20 16). The parents can include in parent teacher conference and volunteering at school, they might motivate staff to attend to their children individuals requirements. It has been evaluated that highly educated parents are motivated to read their children than less educated parents. Educated parents can amplify the development of their children. They are more focused to pose questions instead of employ a wide and more complex vocabulary (Faith, 2012). There is a Diana Baumrinds Parenting Styles that defines how parents manage their childrens behavior, which in turn influences their development. Diana Baumrinds is developmental psychologist who differentiated among permissive parents, authoritarian, lenient and authoritative parents. Authoritarian parents are strict and expected that their rules should be followed by their children which put negative impact on the childs education. On the other hand permissive parents are strict at all and they are very responsive towards their child. It has been defined with the help of this theory parents should adopt the authoritative parenting while dealing with their child because it is the combination of warmth and expectations. The importance of parental education is vital and considered as the strongest correlate of the success of children in school. Parental education impacts the learning of children directly (Givertz, 2016). It cannot be said that how much and whose contribution is more in the context of increase learning of the child (Hamilton, Spinks, White, Kavanagh and Walsh, 2016). Moreover, quasi-experimental strategies have attractive effects of parental education on the outcomes of children. For example, American family has adopted the one study of Korean children which demonstrates that the education level of adoptive mother is considerably linked with the childs educational attainment. Parents are more concerned about the health of their child and that is why they want from teachers to tell them about health food (Sylvetsky-Meni, Gillepsie, Hardy and Welsh, 2015). Social influence on Childs educational experiences and achievement It is essential for the parents and the school to invest in very young children to increase their future well being. It is not necessary that the effectiveness of every school is same, it is not sufficient to teach the 123s and ABCs and call it a day. A considerable amount of school work during the grades is contributes to facilitating children make expert problem solvers and solution seekers. Problem solving is an essential skill in the life of children because it carries the ability to analyze a condition or situation and find out the ways to resolve the issues as soon as possible (Smith, Swallow and Coyne, 2015). School is the place where kids get learning environment and start to explore new things. The contribution of school in the life of child is important as it helps to increase the child knowledge about the things and let them recognize things in their own way. Problem solving skills of child motivate them to keep trying (Nokali, Bachman and Votruba?Drzal, 2010). Social environments consisted physical surroundings, community resources and social relationships. Physical surrounding have huge impact of the childs development as lack of open space and facilities are associated with poor health consequences (Feldman, 2015). It is necessary for childs development to provide them open space and facilities where they can meet other people and can observe their activities (Hamilton, Spinks, White, Kavanagh and Walsh, 2016). Along with that the availability of the good quality educational facilities is integral. For instance, presenting early childhood education is linked with improved childhood development and those people who are surviving in socio-economically communities are likely to have facilities of early childhood education. It has been found that children who do not focus on education have also been exposed to be at huge risk of maltreatment in the time of childhood. Community resources are also put impact on the development of the childrens education. For instance, as per the Australian study it has been found that the children are associated with neighbourhood with more pro-social behaviour amongst children (Rilling and Young, 2014). Good social environment increase the positive social relationship of children. Social behaviour and the aptitude to increase the positive relationship with others were visualized as skills which would develop generally. There is an amplifying identification that social behaviours are cultured and that children must be taught pro-social behaviour (Faith, 2012). Examine and explore ways that people learn and how this has informed pedagogies There are so many things in the world which increase the completion such as English communication is become vital for growing efficiently and that is why parents want admission of their children in convent school instead of government. They push the school to involve the sports activities, computer learning and English communication subject in their pedagogies. So that their children can become more advanced and learn new things which make them enable to compete time to time with others. Parents are focused towards activity and health care of their children because diseases and lack of care of health can be seen in the world (Lauricella, Wartella and Rideout, 2015). They learn that the involvement of how to protect from disease should be involved in the pedagogies so that children can learn about disease and protect themselves from harmful things. Schools play an integral role in developing children and help them to get interact effectively with their peers and teachers (Sylvetsky-Me ni, Gillepsie, Hardy and Welsh, 2015). Self reflection From my own experience, I have learned that the role of parents in their childs learning, achievement and development is important because they learn what they see in their surroundings. However, there are various factors of environmental and biological that affect the cognitive development in the child but it can be managed in an efficient manner by adopting appropriate parenting style. Economic state of the family has significant role in the cognitive development because it helps to provide better opportunities and training to the children which help in cognitive development. The vital reinforcement for the development of child is being provided by the emotional and social maturity of a child. It has been observed by me that when emotional and social development of children are ignored by educators, this may often lead to adults who are rationally gifted but in real they are struggling in their daily lives because of lack of social skills. School is the place where children spent t heir day and it is essential that the curriculum of school should be designed to facilitate its student from firm social relationship and school should force them to connect with other children and adults in adequate and caring way. The character of children is made with the influence of their surroundings (Bornstein and Bradley, 2014). I realized that the environment for growing child should be systematic and parents should more concentrate about the healthy environment and teach them that how to behave with elders, at school and outside. It would facilitate them to understand the characteristics of behaviour. There are various parenting styles that affect the childs education significantly, I have analyzed that parents should authoritative parenting instead of permissive and authoritarian parenting because it is the combination of warmth and expectations. By following this style, parents can enhance the cognitive development in their child. References Bornstein, M.H. and Bradley, R.H. eds., 2014.Socioeconomic status, parenting, and child development. THE NEWS Essay Example For Students
THE NEWS Essay Before this assignment I had never studied news coverage before, like I did now. Studying the news that is put out by different news medias is just incredible, because in each type of news service, they are different. The Headlines are usually close to one another but they are not always the exact same. Take the headline for Monday October 19, 1999, CNN Headline News uses New North Carolina flooding feared, while the MSNBC News Headlines are Clinton, GOP in budget showdown, and lastly Lycos News used Computers that Read Your Shifting Moods. Although none of these headline stories are the same, we see what different media outlets believe their headline stories are! I choose three different media outlets they were CNN Headline News, MSNBC Headline News, and one of the search engines Lycos News. The reason why I picked these three different medias is because I thought that they were going to be the most diverse, and the most similar. Because I picked two big media outlets, MSNBC, and CN N Headline News, I thought that these two would probably be closer too each other than Lycos News. The reason why is because each of those two outlets have people everywhere, in the White House, in Bosnia, where ever there is a story they will send people to go. While Lycos is not as dominant as the other two are, I wanted to see how big Lycos really is compared in news coverage. We will write a custom essay on THE NEWS specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now As I said earlier the first report on CNN Headline News was Flooding in North Carolina, the way that CNN had reported this was by two news anchors and a reporter in North Carolina. Because of the time usage of that particular story I as well as other could not believe how big of a story it was. I thought that it was going to be the top story everywhere. I was wrong because MSNBC did not agree with me, because their first story dealt with President Clinton vetoing a 12.6 billion-dollar foreign aid bill. The way MSNBC covered this was by having a reporter in the White House with a Republican as his speaker, and this interview got to be real boring, and not to long. Lycos on the other hand decided that their best story was Computers that read your shifting moods. Lycos decided to send a female reporter Megan Watzke to Cambridge, Massachusetts and report for them. Luckily this news was not on TV because if it were I would have turned it off. MSNBC decided that the flood in North Carolina was there second top story. Although they gave the flood in North Carolina a good amount of network time, it did not seem as good as CNNs report, because they did not have a reporter in North Carolina to really give us an understanding of the area. CNNs next top story was Wary Wall Street eyes earnings reports, this story is a story for the Wall Street businessmen, using the Dow components and earning reports to show that maybe today on wall street might be another rocky ride in the market. CNN also used different people to talk about different markets, like the international and the US market. This type of story is for that six in the morning person who always wakes up and is about to get on the train and go to the Mercantile Exchange. Lycos uses a different headline to talk about the same issue as CNN; they use Crash of 87 Haunts Traders. This story is the mostly the same story as the one on CNN except Lycos goes further back into 1987 and tells more about what happened there. .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 , .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .postImageUrl , .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 , .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564:hover , .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564:visited , .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564:active { border:0!important; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564:active , .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564 .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u831ba1acb0c7244b4b06c16bf30ae564:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Dinosaurs (1032 words) EssayThe third top story for MSNBC is Pakistan leader reaches out to India. Pakistans military ruler, Gen. Pervez Musharraf said Sunday that he had ordered a unilateral pull back of troops along the nations disputed borders. Now the only reason why I listened is because in politics class we have discussed India and many things about it, but other than that I really do not care for it.CNN Headline news also reported the same thing for their third story; Pakistan begins withdrawal from Indian border. I believe that I saw the same type of coverage on both CNN, and also on MSNBC. Both channels used similar pictures and also very simple word choice to des cribe the situation at hand in Pakistan. Lycos on the other hand decided that US Crime Rate Keeps Sliding, was their third top story. I really like this story because it had said that the murder rate had dropped to the lowest point in thirty-one years. The coverage that they had used on this story was not much; it was about a page at the longest. Though the information that they covered was about the previous highs and lows of the crime rate, and what this means for the future. Lycos decided to use this headline for their fourth news story; Hurricane Irene Swamps North Carolina. The information in this story was just about the same information that I had heard in the other reports from CNN, and MSNBC. The only difference is the way that his story had been chosen. The other media outlets had believed that this was a far bigger story than say Computers that read your shifting moods. CNN Headline News decided to go back to North Carolina and talk to one of the reporters that was their, and try to get a better understanding of what was going on at that current time. I actually started loosing interest in the news at that point because they had just discussed it as their headline story, and now they are going back to it. MSNBC choose Americans confident in military, for their fourth story. This story dealt with the concept of whether or not American troops should be used as peacekeepers in far distant countries. At one point in the story they went to a reporter who was at some Army base, and interviewed a wife of a soldier in the Army. It was nice to see the reaction from her and how she thought her husband felt about the issue. I really like how NBC went out there to hear the reaction from someone who might know better about the issue than us. MSNBC used this headline as its fifth headline U.S. seeks to renegotiate ABM treaty. MSNBC had a reporter in Russia to discuss this treaty. President Clinton and his administration are offering to help complete a large missile tracking radar, if it agrees to alterations to the ABM Treaty to allow an U.S. missile-defense system. What amazed me was that they had a reporter at the White House at first, and then they moved on to another reporter in Russia. Lycos used the headline US Upbeat on Pakistan. This article was on the same grounds as the reports on TV were, it discussed what was going on their, and also reported that troops that were sent to the border during a confrontation over the Kargil moun tains this summer in Kashmir were being withdrawn. No other newscast had reported that, and I felt it quite interesting that Lycos out of them all would be the one to report it. CNN turned their headlines to Clinton, not Bill but Hillary. Hillary Clinton: Probably no announcement till 2000 this was the headline for CNNs fifth story, again they used a reporter from the White House to discuss what Hillarys chances are of running for senate. As the reporter said, he believes that Hillary will run but she said that she would make no comment about it till the year 2000. .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e , .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .postImageUrl , .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e , .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e:hover , .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e:visited , .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e:active { border:0!important; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e:active , .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u13a832ecbbd9a09583c14764176c003e:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Slavery3 EssayI have taken three types of news media outlets and broke them down into different parts. I have discussed what was chosen; the number it was put on air, and many other things about news media. Although this essay was one of the hardest that I have written, I have learned a lot about different types of news, why some news is put on before, and I also got to watch TV. Since the year 2000 is coming up, and plus we have election in the year 2000, the news is going to play a crucial part in the election for a President. Bibliography:
